| Dragonflies and damselflies are among the most beautiful and spectacular insects in the world. Their lives are closely intertwined with wetlands. In order to arouse public awareness of the importance of conserving wetlands for dragonflies, the Hong Kong Wetland Park, organised the "Dragonfly Festival" from mid June to September 2009. During the period, there will be a variety of activities including thematic exhibitions, roving exhibitions on paper-cutting arts of dragonflies, dragonfly tours, DIY workshops, public lectures, drama performances and snap shots competition at the Park.
