Guided Tours on Dragonflies
The guided activities will lead you into an incredible world of dragonfly while you will experience the magical and beautiful lively dragonflies, from larva to adult, as well as the diversified habitats in the Hong Kong Wetland Park.

Dragonflies watching is the prefect way to learn hand-on experience in the world. It is suitable for public of all ages. Explore this lush heaven of Hong Kong Wetland Park, which is home to one-third of Hong Kong dragonflies species can bring pleasant and beneficial surprises to each of us.

The activities are available for walk-in visitors, while seats are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.


  • Meeting the Odonates
     Dates: 17 July to September 2009, on Wednesdays and Fridays (except public holidays)
     Time: 11:00 (duration around 1 hour)

  • Know More on Dragonfly
     Dates: 13 June to September 2009, on Sundays and Public Holidays
     Time: 10:30, 14:30 (duration around 1.5 to 2 hours)

  • Eco-interpretation Point - Life Zone
     Dates: All year round
     Time: 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 2:30, 3:00, 3:30, 4:00
    (15 minutes per session)
     Gathering : Adjacent to Wetland Discovering Centre, Weltlind Reserve.
