Hong Kong nurtures a variety of habitats for different bird species. It also located at the "East-Asian Australasian Flyway", many passage migrants pass through Hong Kong during Spring or Autumn, and overwinter here.
Amongst the 480 known bird species, over 200 species have been recorded in Hong Kong Wetland Park, of which 30% are wintering waterbirds. Hong Kong Wetland Park is organising ¡§Birds Watching¡¨ guided tour in this birding season. Wetland Interpreter will guide you to different habitats like freshwater marsh, river-side and mudflat, to look for the birds and to introduce their relationship with wetland habitats.
