Eco-Interpretation Point

On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, visitors can now join the guided interpretation provided by HKWP Volunteers or Wetland Interpreters. We provide nature walks on wetland reserve, and share interesting stories on wildlife of wetlands.

Stream Walk
Introduction of physical features of streams, common aquatic plants and animals and their adaptive features to the environment.

Discovery Centre (Life Zone)
Explore for aquatic lives in ponds, and learn about how they live in wetland habitats.

Succession Walk
A tour to learn about the process on sequential changes in plant community and their importance.

Mangrove Boardwalk
Learn about mangrove species and their adaptative festures, as well as take a closer look at different intertidal animals.

Interpretation time
Morning: 10:30 / 11:00 / 11:30 / 12:00
Afternoon: 2:30 / 3:00 / 3:30 / 4:00
Each tour by 15 minutes

Participation method:
Visitors could gather in front of the sign "Eco-Interpretation Point", no registration is required.


Note:
Guided tour will be conducted in Cantonese. The interpretation point and starting time will depend on availability of volunteer manpower and weather condition.
