Remarks

  1. Failure  to provide these data may affect the processing time and the outcome of your application.

  2. This application is not transferable. Once an application is approved, the applicant cannot change the visit date and session.

  3. Hong Kong Wetland Park’s opening hours:
    Mondays, Wednesdays to Sundays: 10:00am to 5:00pm
    (Ticket Office opens from 9:30am to 4:00pm.)
    Tuesdays (except Public Holidays): Closed.

  4. Group Booking is available no less than 1 weeks but not more than 3 months prior to the scheduled date of visit.

  5. All bookings will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. The result of booking will be notified by e-mail or by fax to the contact person of the application within 3 working days after receiving the application.

  6. Upon acceptance of booking, applicants could settle payment and collect tickets at Ticket Office on the day of visit.
    (Note: Applicants could settle payment by cash, company cheque (payable to Government of HKSAR) or EPS)

  7. Hong Kong Wetland Park (HKWP) reserves the rights to approve/reject any application.

  8. Hong Kong Wetland Park will not provide interpretative guides for group booking. Visiting groups should arrange their own guides if needed.

  9. Participants must arrange their own transportation to and from Wetland Park. Limited parking for coach is available and on a first-come-first-served basis.

  10. Applicants that fall to collect tickets on the visit day without prior notice would affect their chance in future application.

  11. Arrangements Under Inclement Weather Conditions

    1. Typhoon Signal No.8 or above: The HKWP will be closed. It will be opened within 2 hours after the signal is lowered. The HKWP will remain closed if the signal is lowered less than 2 hours before closing hour of the Park.

    2. Black Rainstorm Warning:


      1. If the warning is issued before the opening hour, the HKWP will be closed. It will be reopened within 2 hours after the warning is cancelled. If the signal is lowered less than 2 hours before the closing hour, the HKWP will remain closed that day.

      2. If the warning is issued during the opening hours, the Visitor Centre will remain open until Park's closing hour or the condition is safe for visitors to leave the Park.

    3. If Red Rainstorm Warning is issued during the opening hours of the Park, the Visitor Centre will remain open, but the outdoor Wetland Reserve will be closed. All education activities and guided tours held in the Wetland Reserve will be cancelled while other indoor activities will continue as usual. The Reserve Area will be reopened after the Red Rainstorm Warning is lowered.
