Origami egretry
Breeding is one of the most important missions of birds' life. During breeding season, it is not difficult to notice egrets bear beautiful plumages. After finding their mates, the new couples will work hard to gather the materials for building nest.

When the breeding season comes, egrets and herons will group together for hatching eggs a piece of woodland, which are commonly called "Egretry". The size of egretry may vary from a few trees to the whole piece of woodland. Generally, different kinds of egrets and herons, such as, Little Egret, Great Egret, Cattle Egret, Chinese Pond Heron and Black-crowned Night Heron can be found in the same egretry.

The Origami Egretry Installation Art is created by Hong Kong Origami Society and volunteers of the Hong Kong Wetland Park. With great talent and skills, pieces of craft paper are folded into many lively and three-dimensional origami masterpieces. Through the exhibition, the Hong Kong Wetland Park aimed to enhance public understanding of egrets and herons through incorporating wetlands and arts.
