Birds and Wetlands Art Gallery

To celebrate the "World Wetlands Day 2010 - Bird Watching Festival", the Hong Kong Wetland Park of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Conservation Department has organised various public educational activities related to birds from October 2009 to February 2010. The activities included:

"Birds and Wetlands Snap Shot Photo Collection"
Displaying 300 bird photos in different postures taken by visitors in the Park.


"Black-faced Spoonbill Artworks Collection"
Displaying Black-faced Spoonbill models created by wasted materials to manifest the importance of healthy wetlands.


Black-faced Spoonbill "Comic"
Displaying the comics submitted by visitors during Christmas in 2009. The explanation of the term "comic" could be dated back from Song Dynasty in China, which was describing Black-faced Spoonbill swung its bill left and right while foraging.
