2008 Year of the Frog Thematic Exhibition
" | The goals of "2008 Year of the Frog" Exhibition are:
- To arouse public awareness and understanding of the amphibian extinction crisis.
- To highlight ways in which the public can help to conserve in their daily lives.
- To stimulate a sustained and long-term interest in amphibian conservation and related interactions with the environment.
- To raise awareness about the protection of biodiversity through the conservation of amphibians.
Accompanied with frog chorus, fascinating interactive games, thought-provoking panels and live exhibits, you can enjoy a journey of knowing frogs, greeting them and learning to conserve them in your daily life.

Close Encounter with Amphibians
These sessions are organised on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays throughout the exhibition period from July to October. Under the guidance of our frog ambassador, you can touch a frog or a newt for close observation and we will share our daily delights of amphibians.

"Wonderland of Frog" Origami Workshop
"Wonderland of Frog" is an origami exhibition co-organised by Hong Kong Origami Society and Hong Kong Wetland Park. One winning entry of Japanese Origami Competition on the life cycle of frog is also on display. On Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, members from Hong Kong Origami Society will teach frog origami in these workshops.
